Mrs. David Getty
__Minnie Ellen Getty, 85, widow of David B. Getty and a Cedar Rapids resident 71 years, died at her home, 1519 D avenue NE, Thursday.
__Born in Marion July 18, 1882, she was married in Cedar Rapids in June 1906. Mrs. Getty was a 70-year member of St. Paul's Methodist church.
__Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Paul Helming, with whom she made her home; a son, John Getty of Mansfield, La.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
__Services: Beatty - Beurle funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Saturday by Dr. Glenn W. McMichael. Burial: Linwood cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Friday.
