Lenora Brown, age 91, was born in Bee Cave, TX on September 23, 1909 and departed this earth on January 23, 2001. She was the daughter of Albert Henry and Emma (Maul) Sylvester. Lenora grew up in Hudson Bend on the Colorado River. She was a member of the Bee Cave Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Austin M. Butler and John Roy Brown and by her son, Gene Butler.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Laurie Butler of Shreveport, Louisiana and Barry Butler and wife Debra of Midlothian, TX and great -grandchildren Amber and Alex Butler of Venus, TX. She is also survived by a brother, Chester Sylvester and wife Melba of San Angelo, TX; and sisters Edell Wade of Lampasas, TX, and Ozell Phillips of Austin, TX; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends from
6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, January 26th at Harrell Funeral Home, 4425 Frontier Trail.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 27th at the Bee Cave Baptist Church Cemetery, Bee Cave, TX at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Barry Chinn pastor of Woodlawn Baptist Church officiating.
