Thomas Patrick O'Rourke, 67, formerly of Jermyn, passed away Saturday, March 11th, at Cambridge Riverview, Larksville, PA.
Thomas was born in Passiac, NJ on March 25, 1955, the son of the late Thomas Francis and Mary (Lawbosky) O'Rourke.
He was a graduate of St. Rose High school Class of 1973 and graduated from the University of Scranton. He formerly worked for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. He was an accomplished musician playing the drums for many bands at venues all across the country. The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice of the Sacred Heart and Cambridge Riverview for the loving and compassionate care they gave to Tom during his illness.
Thomas is survived by a daughter, Amber O'Rourke, Throop; a sister, Ann Rogan, husband James, Archbald. He is also survived by Niece Lauren Rogan and nephews Cory Rogan, Ryan Rogan and his wife Kate and great nieces and nephews; Ella, James, Liam and Clare.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, March 16th at 10 AM in St. Thomas Aquinas Church Archbald, PA .
Interment will be in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.
