Edna Mae Parrish Buser, 80 of Ft. Oglethorpe went to be with The Lord on April 16, 2023. She has lived in the North Georgia area her whole life. She is a member at Chattanooga Valley Church of Christ where she was active teaching in the nursery for many years. She enjoyed reading, sewing, crafts, and spending time with her family. Especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Melvin & Tressie Parrish; along with brothers Frank Parrish and Michael Parrish.
Edna is survived by her loving husband Loren Buser; children James (Audera) Madaris, Jerry Madaris, Kenneth (Kim) Madaris; siblings Clifford Parrish, Lebron (Cathy) Parrish, Marie Shelby; grandchildren Brandon (Delaina) Madaris, Amber (Matthew) Whittington, Nicholas (Kathleen) Madaris, Katelyn (Mikey) Bowen; 6 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday April 20, 2023. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday April 21, 2023 in the Ft. Oglethorpe Chapel of Wilson Funeral Home with Evangelists Peter Wesson, Reid Perry, and Bill Dedmon officiating. A burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens South.
