Brett M. Ainsley, 25, of Streator passed away Friday, June 11, 2021.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home in Streator. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at St. Michael the Archangel Parish Church, Streator with burial to follow in St. Stephen's Cemetery. Fr. Austin Bosse will officiate.

He was born October 25, 1995 in Pontiac, a son of David and Susan (Lesak) Ainsley.

He is survived by his parents: Dave and Sue Ainsley of Streator; a sister: Allison Ainsley of Streator; a brother: Cody Ainsley of Streator; his niece: Riley; maternal grandmother: Rosemary Lesak of Streator; paternal grandparents: Robert and Diane Ainsley of Summerdale, Alabama; paternal great-grandmother: Audrey Ainsley of Summerdale, Alabama; aunts and uncles: Rick (Sallie) Lesak of Streator, Ron (Kathy) Lesak of Streator, Thomas (Marta) Lesak of Alvin; Daniel (Cathy) Lesak of Huntley, Ann Nichols of Summerdale, Alabama, Mike Ainsley of Summerdale, Alabama and John (Renee) Ainsley of Streator; many cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather: George Lesak; and his aunt: Pamela Ainsley.

Raised in Streator he attended Streator grade schools and graduated from Streator High School. Brett attended Columbia College in Chicago where he majored in Audio Production and Design. He was on the Dean's list while at Columbia.

He moved to Alabama for a while after college.

Brett was very gifted and talented in the arts and music. He loved to paint, play the piano and write songs. He also enjoyed riding dirt bikes and quads. He had a special relationship with his niece, Riley. He loved spending time with her swimming, biking, taking hikes or just playing with her Barbie's. He was very loved by his family and will be dearly missed.

Memorial may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
