Mrs. Lucy Norcross

Funeral services for Mrs. Lucy Norcross, 87, of Dayton were held at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Sterling Funeral Home. The Rev. Kermit Pritchett, pastor of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in the Linney Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Jimmie and Truett Norcross, Frank Matthews, Emmond Kelsey, Dale Grantham, A. W. Rigby, and B. H. Whittington Jr.

Mrs. Norcross passed away at 5:45 Monday in Heritage Manor Nursing Home.

She was born in Old River Community and had been a life-long resident of the Dayton area. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors are two sons, Milton and Walter Norcross of Dayton; four brothers, Roscoe Tilton of Mont Belvieu, Addy Tilton, Amos and Ervin Tilton of Old River; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
