FLINTSTONE Charles Edward "Dink" Alexander, 54, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013.He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia areas and was of the Baptist faith. He was previously employed with Absolute Service as a High Rise Window Washer and loved and adored helping raise children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rob and Betty Alexander; and grandparents, John Robert and Joise Pearl Alexander. Survivors include his loving wife of more than 35 years, Cindy Alexander; daughter, Cynthia Tenae Alexander, both of Flintstone, Ga.; brother, Robert Earl Alexander, of Ringgold, Ga.; four sisters, Anna Thomas, of Fort Worth, Texas, Joyce Brown, of Rossville, Betty Ann Dean, of LaFayette, Ga. and Patricia Wright, of Tunnel Hill, Ga.; four grandchildren, Elizabeth, Ashanti, Trent and Charles Watson; aunt, Wanda Goforth; uncles, Charles, John, Henry and Roy Alexander; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2013 in the Fort Oglethorpe. The family will begin receive friends after 5 p.m. Saturday, all day Sunday and prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home. Arrangements by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
