Marjorie A. Noel, age 89, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023, at Vantage Pointe Village in Ashland City, Tennessee. Marjorie was born in Chapmansboro, Tennessee, on January 13, 1934, to the late George Dewey Herron and Virginia H. (Jennette) Herron. She attended Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church, a long-term member of Belmont Heights Baptist in Nashville, a member of the Red Hat Society and a Belmont Mansion Historic Society member.

Marjorie once stated "I have been blessed with a wonderful husband, precious family and friends. I am thankful to God for this. Whatever I may accomplish, I give God the Glory and Praise."
Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents, George Dewey and Virginia Herron; husband, Hayes A. Noel, Sr; infant sister; brothers, Carl, Wendell and Glenn Herron; and sister, Mary Boyte; step-daughter, Jeannette Jackson.

Funeral service will be Friday, May 5, 2023, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Danny Dwyer officiating. Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham, LLC in Pleasant View, Tennessee.
