Chapel, Madill, Saturday for George William (Dick) Thompson, 67, who died in an Ardmore hospital Thursday night following a short illness. Rev. Edwin Walker, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiated, and burial was in the Woodberry Forest Cemetery, under direction of Watts.
Thompson was born May 4, 1874 in Wilbarger County, Tex., and moved with his parents to Marshall County in 1917. He had been a resident of Madill for the past 35 years. He was employed by Ra-born Chevrolet Co. for many years and had been a bricklayer and cement contractor for the past few years.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs.Betty Jo Browning, Wichita Falls, Tex.; four brothers, John Thompson, Amarillo, Tex., Eli, Mannsville, Joe, Madill, and
Jimmy, Ardmore; two sisters, Mrs. L. B. Young, Ada, and Mrs. Minnie Eldridge, Mannsville; and two grand-children,
