Betty was born May 23, 1927 in Electra, Texas to the late Ira Kidwell and Margaret Litten Bostick Kidwell.
She graduated from Electra High School in 1944.
Betty married Willard Fowler on November 22, 1945 in Electra, Texas. He preceded her in death on October 10, 1997.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Electra, where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday School. Betty loved sewing and working in her yard. She loved her pets, especially Maggie. Betty was a homemaker throughout her life.
Survivors include her daughter, Cathy Goodwin and husband, Jimmy of Electra; one brother, Jack Kidwell of Electra; two grandsons, Adam Goodwin and wife, Melissa of Lawton, Oklahoma and Zane Goodwin of Leipzig, Germany; and three great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
