Abbie "Pauline" Combs, born June 02, 1927, in Smilax, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Bradley and Matilda Fields. She departed this life on May 02, 2023, at the Tri State Manor in Harrogate, TN at the age of 95.
Abbie was a former resident of Leslie County and had resided in Indiana before moving to New Tazwell, TN where she had resided for the past 31 years. Abbie was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and cleaning.
In addition to her parents, Abbie was preceded in death by her husband Conrad Combs. Her three brothers, Buster, Leonard, Marion "Tootsie" Fields. Five sisters, Hazel, Georgia, Nannie, Wilma, and Bonnie.
Survivors include, one son Leonard Combs of New Tazwell, TN, one brother, Leroy Fields of Mogadore, OH, one sister, Thelma Day of Smilax, KY, four grandchildren Brandy Combs, Jeremy Green, Holly O'Conner, and Heather O'Conner. Other survivors include, twelve great-grandchildren Nikki, Emily, Dalton, William and Lilly Seals, Gabrial, Jr., Jasimine, and Braden Green, Devin and Arayah Catron and Charlie O'Conner. Nine Great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.
A funeral service for Abbie Combs will be held at 1p.m. – Sunday, May 07, 2023, at Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
Interment will follow the service at the Fields Cemetery at Smilax, KY with Chris Fields, Joey Fields, Isaac Burkhart, Brad Fields, and Nate Fields serving as pallbearers.
