Obit: Samuel G. Fickle, a former resident of this county, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ida Moore, Craigville, Indiana, Friday morning at 6:30 o'clock.

He was born July 12, 1860, in Clinton County, where he spent the greater part of his life.

On December 4, 1879, he was married to Miranda McClary, who survived. Early in life, he united with the United Bethren Church. HE was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Jefferson.

The following children survive, Miss Minnie Fickle of Indianapolis, Mrs. Nellie Davis of Lafayette, and Mrs. Ida Moore of Craigville. One daughter, Allie Elliott, preceded him in death on June 8, 1928. Eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.

The body will be brought to the home of S.J. Elliott, west of this city, Sunday morning where friends may call until the hour of the funeral, which will be in the afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at Jefferson U.B. Church, with the Rev. G.V. Regence officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Cemetery.
