Amelia is survived by sons, Geoff (Albany, Ore.), and Alan (Yuma, Ariz.) Barnes; her grandchildren, Amanda Barnes (Yuma, Ariz.) and James Barnes (Austin, Texas), and her great-grandson, Christopher Barnes (Yuma, Ariz.).
Amelia was very service-oriented and loved to give to others. She volunteered often in the community she called home. She loved music and enjoyed playing the piano and singing. She also enjoyed knitting and cooking.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Mennonite Village, 5353 Columbus Street SE, Albany, Ore., 93722. Memorials are not requested.
