Albert Crawford Bradford of Washington, DC passed away peacefully on Sunday April 30, 2023 at Casey House (Montgomery Hospice) in Rockville, MD. He was 73 years old and was predeceased by his wife Sandra Lake Bradford who passed away March 27, 2023. Albert was the son of the late Noah and Ethel Bradford and the brother of the late Denise Bean and Robert Bradford. He is survived by children Christopher Bradford (Tricia) of Mount Airy, MD and Kenneth Bradford (Anna) of Olney, MD; grandchildren Hartley, Ryan, Holly, and Joshua; and two brothers Michael Bradford and Norman Bradford; in addition to many nieces and nephews.

Albert graduated from Wilson High School in Washington, DC in 1968, then joined the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, DC in 1968 and served in the Second District until his retirement in 1995.

A funeral mass for Albert and Sandra Bradford will take place at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Washington, DC on Thursday June 1 at 10:30 a.m. and interment will follow at a future date at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, MD. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Fraternal Order of Police DC Lodge #1, 711 4th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001.
