George Anthony Metzler, 75, of Pinellas Park, Florida passed away on May 10th, 2023. George was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on March 27th, 1948 to Marjorie Edna (Spicer) and George Albert Metzler.
George was a retired Sergeant Major in the U.S. Army. He was highly decorated with honors. & also serving many combat duties.
George worked for many years after his Military Career at The Home Depot.
George married Carol, and together they had two children, Mark and James. He enjoyed scuba diving and fishing. George is survived by his wife Carol, his two sons Mark and James, his grandchildren Alec and Mark, his brother Steve and many other family members. George was predeceased by his father George (1949), Mother Margorie (1985), and his half-brother Gary (2008).
