Mrs. Carl (Lois) Feyen, 73, formerly of 815 Stone Ridge Place, died Tuesday morning, March 18, 2008, at Stonehill Care Center.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 24, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in Resurrection Garden Mausoleum, Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 23, at Hoffmann-Schneider Funeral Home, 1640 Main St., where there will be a wake service at 6:30 p.m.

She was born May 30, 1934, in Dubuque, daughter of Eugene and Marcella (McPoland) Nilles. She married Carl J. Feyen on June 19, 1954, at Nativity Catholic Church.

She graduated from the former Visitation Academy, Dubuque, and was employed as a clerk at J.C. Penney and the former Armstrong Department Store, both in Dubuque.

Mrs. Feyen was a member of Sacred Heart Parish and its Rosary Society. She was a dedicated homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Surviving are her husband, Carl J. Feyen; three daughters, Carlene Bainter, of Prescott, Ariz., Carrie Werner, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and Laura Feyen, of Englewood, Colo.; four sons, Peter (Jeanne) Feyen, of Hazel Green, Wis., Guy (Cathy) Feyen, of Hughesville, Md., Gregg (Diane) Feyen, of Bullhead City, Ariz., and Timothy (Dr. Tami) Feyen, of Platteville, Wis.; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Arlene Hibbard, of Lena, Ill.; four brothers, David (Carol) Nilles and Roger (Louise) Nilles, of Freeport, Ill., Roland (Julia) Nilles, of Coeur D. Alene, Idaho, and Mark (Pat) Nilles, of Forreston, Ill.; and a sister-in-law, Shirley Nilles, of Dubuque.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother at birth; and a brother, Dale Nilles.
