DEFIBAUGH, LEROY, age 93, of Birmingham, AL, passed away February 23, 2008. Mr. Defibaugh retired from the City of Birmingham after many years of service. He was a member of the Freunde Dutscher Sprache und Kultur (F.D.S.K German American Club). He was a loving father and husband preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Virginia Black Defibaugh. Survived by Nora Defibaugh; his daughters, Cecilia Cassel (Jeff), Carol Defibaugh-Martin (Dale), Marlene Rhoades (Russell); four loving grandchildren, Julie Sterling, Lee Vaughn, Pamela Rhoades and Deidre Emerson; one great-grandchild, Henry Sterling. He will be remembered fondly by his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and numerous neices, nephews and friends.
