Christopher J. "Chris" Ahearn 72 of Greene died unexpectedly on Friday May 12, 2023 at his home. He is survived by his wife, Carol Ahearn, 2 sons & daughters-in-law, Chad & Juli Ma Ahearn, Greene, Corey & Chanell Ahearn, Greene, a grandson, James, step daughter, Casie & Tim O'Connor, Whitney Point and their son, Patrick, 3 sisters & brother-in-law, Theresa & Tim Rendo, Morris, Anne Ahearn, Calif., Jean Miller, OK, and also several nieces and nephews.

He was a retired employee of Frontier Communications. He was an avid fisherman, always looking for the big one. He enjoyed farming, tractors, equipment and his motorcycle.

Funeral Services will be held at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville on Thurs. at 11 a.m. Rev. Ron Wenzinger, Pastor of Harpursville United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Knox Cemetery, Ouaquaga. The family will receive friends at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home on Thurs. from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to service. Online condolences may made at: www.omaddenfh.com.
