Martin C. Anderson, aged 87. of 2066 Eleven Mile rd., R1, Sparta, passed away Sunday morning at his home after eight months illness. He is survived by his wife, Etna; one daughter, Mrs. Frances Runyon of Muskegon; four sons, M. C., Jr., Maurice, Myron, all of Sparta, Rolland of Detroit; twenty-three grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren; two brothers, James and William, both of Sparta; one sister, Mrs. Nelson Saur of Sparta. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:30 o'clock at the Bettes-Hessel Memorial Chapel with Rev. O. E. Whitehouse officiating. Interment Englishville cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
