DAVIS, Edith Mosley, 93, passed away August 17, 2017. She was born February 22, 1924 in Lyons, GA, the daughter of Onie & Luvert Mosley. Edith "Pete" will be remembered for the many stories that she would tell to all that would listen about her life experiences. These stories would range from growing up on the farm to time spent with her grand kids. She loved to fish with her grandsons and talked about it often. She enjoyed spending time camping and doing anything that was outdoors. Edith was preceded in death by her husband Julius Eugene Davis. Survivors include her son, Grady Davis and his wife Lynn; brother, Bennie Carlos Mosley; sister, Betty Cross and husband Frank; grandchildren, Johnathon Davis, Susan Ferguson and husband Bill, Joseph Davis and wife Susan and Jebediah Davis and wife Rachel; and nine great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held in Augusta, GA at a later date.
