Funeral services for Goldie F. Boyd, 71, 103 S. Hood St., will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Laird and Son Funeral Home, Amboy. The Rev. Kenneth Pickering will officiate and burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery, Amboy.
Mrs. Boyd died at Dukes Hospital at 9:35 a.m. yesterday. She had been ill two days. She was born in Fulton County Jan. 30, 1900, the daughter of Joshua K. and Pearl Wertz Saylors. Her husband, Lao Boyd, died Sept. 27, 1969.
Surviving are a brother, Forest "Bus" Saylors, R.R. 2, Kewanna, four nieces and one nephew. Mrs. Boyd was a member of the Galveston United Methodist Church and Eastern Star and Rebekah Lodge, Rochester.
