It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Aaron Laine Smith on May 6, 2023, at the age of 25. He was born on March 6, 1998, in Princeton, Minnesota, to parents, Jason and Heather Smith.

Aaron had a passion for serving his country, which led him to join the United States Air Force. He was a dedicated and selfless member of the military, and his service to his country was greatly appreciated by all who knew him.

Aaron was married to the love of his life, Jessica Smith. Together, they shared many beautiful moments, and their love for each other was an inspiration to all who knew them.

Aaron was a kind and loving person, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He had a contagious smile and a warm personality that made everyone feel welcome. He was loved by all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.

He will be forever remembered for his kind heart, his bravery, and his unwavering dedication to his country and his loved ones.

He has been reunited with his great-grandparents, grandfathers, uncles, aunts, and extended family members from both the Smith and Lopez families in God's Eternal Kingdom.

Aaron will be deeply and lovingly missed by his wife, Jessica Smith; mother, Heather Smith; father and step-mother, Jason and Anita Smith; brother, Jason "Nate" Smith Jr.; grandparents, DiAnn and Robert Erickson, Kenneth Rung, Barbara and Don Mallory, and Jim and Linda MacGillivray; many extended family members; and a host of friends who became family.

Our beloved Aaron, rest in the Lord, never forgotten, but always and forever remembered and loved.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Home beginning at 9:00 AM with a Funeral Service following at 10:00 AM. Interment will be held at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at 1:00 PM.
