Dayla worked on the production line for ABB Motors and Mechanical Inc. in Fort Smith. She was a 2019 graduate of County Line High School, a volunteer at the Paris Senior Citizen Center, and member of First Baptist Church in Ratcliff.
She is survived by her adopted parents, Steve and Nancy Gattis of Ratcliff; three sisters, Kanisha Schafer and husband Richard of Waldron, Dana Austin of Fort Smith, and her twin-sister, Kayla Jean Austin of Ratcliff; a brother, Daniel K. Austin and wife Christina of Oklahoma; two adopted sisters, Harley Gattis of Ratcliff and Caitlynn Sexton; two adopted brothers, David Bell of Winslow and Mikey Bell of Fort Smith; three nieces; ten nephews; and five great-nieces.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 1, 2023, at First Baptist Church in Ratcliff. Pastor Robert Berry officiatef the services
Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery in Booneville, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
Pallbearers were Josh Sexton, Mikey Bell, David Bell, Charles Melton, Justin Lawrence, and Richard Schafer.
Honorary pallbearers were Corey Riddles and her friends at ABB in Fort Smith.
