Coleen Lenore Olaf, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt went to be with our Heavenly Father on December 16, 2021. She was surrounded by family at the time of her passing in Boise, Idaho.

Coleen was born in Kenmare, North Dakota in 1943. She graduated from Palermo High School. Upon graduation, she moved to St. Paul to attend classes. She returned to North Dakota where she lived until her move to Washington state in 1991.

Coleen held a long career in the medical field in the Seattle area. She was a Patient Care Coordinator for Roxbury Clinic and then moved on to be Clinic Manager at International Community Health Services in the International District in downtown Seattle. After retirement, she moved to Boise to be near family. Coleen had a passion for helping others and took on a project working for the Idaho Health Department as a Health Program Specialist. It was here that she completed her working years.

She enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She loved being a nana and made many precious memories with her grandchildren. Coleen enjoyed living by the ocean, walking on the beach, attending Mariners baseball and Sonics basketball games, helping others in the community, taking in the arts and theater. She was a member of the AFLC Calvary Lutheran Church in Washington and became a member at the Assembly of God Church in Meridian, Idaho. Coleen's life had two convictions: helping others, and being a servant to the Lord.

Coleen is preceded in death by her parents Harry and Lila Olaf of Palermo, ND and her son, Timothy Westby of Houston, TX.

She is survived by her daughter Jill (Westby) Iverson; grandchildren Devin (Justine) Iverson, Ashley Westby, Isaac Westby, Alex Westby, Abby Westby; brothers Floyd Olaf and Marvin (Betty) Olaf; and nieces and nephews.
