Alta Novilla Gamble, 85, died on Thursday, Oct. 14, 1999 at her home in Midwest City, after a long illness.
Mrs. Gamble was born Feb. 12, 1914 in Meeker, Oklahoma, to Clarence and Minnie Keeth Stephens.
She was a homemaker, loving mother and wife. She moved to Midwest City in 1992, coming from Chetopa, Kansas. Mrs. Gamble married Orville Gamble in 1944 in Jay, OK. He survives.
Additional survivors include: two daughters, Myra Mae McCord-Lyle and husband Charles of Yukon, Oklahoma and Minnie Novilla McCord-Allman (sp?) and husband Richard of Missouri and one stepson Dean Gamble.
Graveside services will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery, Chetopa, Kansas on October 16, 1999 at 2 p.m. with Reverend Dallas Martin officiating.
