Clarence M. "Doc" Kielman, age 75, of North Ridgeville died Tuesday at EMH Regional Medical Center following a short illness.
He was born in Vanceburg, KY. He had resided in North Ridgeville since 1977 moving from Lorain.
Mr. Kielman retired from General Motors Fisher Guide Plant in 1985 after 32 years of service.
He served in the US Air Force where he was a staff sergeant during the Korean War.
He was a member of the AMVETS Post 32, the VFW Post 1079, the American Legion in Wellington, the Elyria Eagles Club, United Polish Club and the Frank Harmon Masonic Lodge.
He enjoyed Blue Grass Music, Traveling, fishing, golfing, playing pool and horseshoes.
He is survived by his companion of many years, Dorothy Fees, three daughters, Carolyn Swords of Bidwell, Ohio, Patricia Rico of Carrollton, Georgia and Martha Sines of Carrollton, Georgia, two sons, Alan Kielman of Bellefontaine, Ohio and Timothy Kielman of Elyria, four step daughters, Lynette Kitts of Grafton, Lori Ford of Grafton, Wendy Fees of Grafton, and Noreen Humphrey of Lorain, 16 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and one sister, Lillie Shaw of Aberdeen, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his father, Burche Kielman, his mother, Anna Polley and one infant son.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday in the funeral home. Rev. Bill Shomo will officiate. Burial will be in River Road Cemetery, Lagrange Township. The VFW Post 1079 will conduct full military honors at the graveside.

Clarence was the Son of Burchett and Anne ( Rickett ) Kielman.
Burchett passes away in Oak Ridge, Lewis, Kentucky in 1935. He was the Son of Mike & Rosie ( Foller ) Keilman.
Anne then remarried by 1940 to Clayton Polley.
The 1930 Census has Burchett Keilman, 27, Anna B Keilman, 19, Lillie E Keilman, 2, Clarence M Keilman, 9, and Charlie Rickett ( Brother-in-law ), 24, listed in District 5, Lewis, Kentucky.
The 1920 Census has Anna B Rickett in the Household of Breene B Rickett, Lewis, Kentucky. The members listed as: Head Greene B Rickett, 38, Wife Ida F Rickett, 36, Daughter Pearle B Rickett, 15, Son Charles Rickett, 13, Son Arthur L Rickett, 11, Daughter Anna B Rickett, 8, Daughter Laura O Rickett, 6, and Son Alfred W Rickett, 1y4m.
