Applegate Dora, 88, former Noble County resident, died Thursday at the Allen County Home. She was a native of Green Twp, born May 14, 1868, a daughter of George and Catherine Hawk Gaff. Following her marriage to Firmer Applegate, they resided on a farm near Albion for many years, and in 1937 moved to Fort Wayne. He died in January 1956.
