Applegate E Firmer, about 85, a native of Noble County who retired from farming and moved to Fort Wayne some years ago, died Jan. 3, 1956 at the Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay, Ohio.

Surviving are the widow, Dora; two daughters, Mrs. Loy McWilliams, Kendallville, and Mrs. Cloyce Duffield, Findlay; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Ruby Barnhart, Auburn; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Clara Stanley, near Albion.

A son, James, who lived near here, died several years ago. Services Saturday in Bonham & Miser Funeral Home. Burial, Christian Chapel Cemetery
