Allan was born Sept. 24, 1956, in Brookline, Mass., to Lucien and Barbara Ouellette. Allan graduated from Keller High School in 1975 and went on to study at North Texas State University, where he obtained a BS in emergency management. He married Vicki Ped in Salem, Ore., on Sept. 8, 1984.

Allan dedicated his life to the emergency medical services. He was currently working for AMR Dallas as a critical care paramedic. He previously worked on the LifeStar helicopter. He continuously illustrated his commitment to the highest level of service. His dedication to the study of emergency medicine obligated him to share his knowledge through teaching and training. Allan enjoyed traveling the world with his family, visiting many countries in Asia, Europe and Latin America. He was an avid motor sports fan and involved all who would listen. His vast knowledge of obscure facts and trivia made conversations with him interesting and thought-provoking.
Survivors: His wife of 18 years, Vicki Ouellette; daughter, Gabrielle, age 6; sons, Garrett, age 2, and Christopher, age 23; mother, Barbara Vaughn of Texas; grandparents, Eleanor Worster and Jo Worster of New Hampshire; brothers, Steven, Brian, Randy, Kenneth, Robert and William; sister, Kelli; stepbrother Michael; stepsisters, Rhonda, Becky and Melanie; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
