Frances M. (Boyle) Smola, 88, died Saturday, March 22, 2008 at St Anne Home in Fort Wayne. She was a former volunteer at V.A. Hospital with over 6, 000 volunteer hours and former employee, retiring in 1974. She was a member of the former St. Andrew Catholic Church.

Survivors include sons, Alan D. Boyle, Sr. of Fort Wayne, Daniel L. Boyle of Huntington, and Raymond Boyle of Ellerlie, NC; daughter, Beverly Brincefield of Fort Wayne; step-son, Walter L. Smola of W. Liberty, OH; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Boyle in 1963; second husband, Stanley Smola in 1988; 3 brothers; and a sister.

Service is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anne Home Chapel, 1900 Randallia Drive with calling one hour prior, Fr. John "Jack" Overmeyer officiating. Calling is also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue with Vigil at 7:30 p.m. Monday. Burial in Catholic Cemetery.
