We all have a pre-determined amount of time on earth; a birth date - a death date, and no more. God gives us our lifetime to find Him, and He will judge each person based on whether or not they've rejected His Son, Jesus Christ. That is THE most important purpose of any person's life. All that we are in this life, all that we have said and done, all that we work, worry and strive for are only 2-3 generations away from being completely forgotten. The Legacy to my children is, not just to be able to leave our family memorials and stories here for them to discover, but most importantly to point them to the Savior, Jesus Christ. As you read these memorials keep in mind that you are still living in the hyphen between birth and death, and you still have the opportunity to come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ as your Savior. Accept Him and the sacrifice he made for your sin which gives you eternal life.
