Mrs. Florence Leona Reed, 81 of Piedmont passed away Tuesday January 10th at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be 3 PM Saturday at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Rainey officiating. Burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 P.M. Saturday. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to St. Judes Childrens Hospital. Pallbearers: Kenneth Funderburg, Jeff Grimes, Eddie Brannon, Jeremy Webb, and Eric Shumate.

Survivors include her son; Randy (Sara) Graves of Valley Head, daughter; Dale (Marlin) Eubanks of Piedmont, brother; Gene Webb of Piedmont, sisters; Mary Funderburg of Attalla, Oma Lee Brannon and Eva Lynn Harper both of Centre, grandchildren: Michael Eubanks, D'Ana Stroud, Dusty Harper, Mandy Gooch; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews; special niece, Kim Funderburg.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Buster Reed and several brothers and sisters. Mrs. Reed was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late Milton and Evelyn Johnson Webb and was a member of the Sardis Hill Baptist Church.
