WILLIAM BRUENIG
William Bruenig, 75, a town of Mishicot farmer for the past 43 years, died Wednesday afternoon at the Municipal Hospital in Two Rivers, following a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held 2 pm Saturday at the St. Peter's Lutheran church at Mishicot, with the Rev. Edward Zell officiating. Burial will be in the Mishicot Public Cemetery.
The body is at the Specht Funeral Home at Mishicot where it may be viewed this evening until 1:30 pm Saturday when it will be removed to the church.
The son of Mr. and Mrs. August Bruenig, Mr. Bruenig was born on a farm near Branch in 1871. He married the former Miss Minnie Kunz, also of Branch, on October 31, 1901 and for the past 43 years had resided on a farm on Route 1, Mishicot.
He was a member of the school board on the Kettle Range School in the Town of Mishicot for several years; a director of the Mishicot State Bank for a number of years and until the time of his death, was a trustee for the Mishicot Public Cemetery Association.
Surviving are his wife; one son, Raymond on the home farm; a daughter, Mrs. Herbert Krueger of Manitowoc; five grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Cora Reus of West Pullman, Ill.
