MRS. ADA B. MCCANT - A native and lifelong resident of Mobile, Ala., and a member of the New Home Baptist Church, Prichard, passed Monday, November 25, 1974. She is survived by one son, Nathaniel Bracy, Mt. Vernon, New York; one devoted daughter, Mrs. Beatrice Burns, Prichard, Ala.; one son-in-law, Willy Burns, Prichard, Ala.; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Ruth Bracy, Mt. Vernon, New York; seven grandchildren; four brothers; one sister; and a number of other relatives and friends.
The remains will lie in state at the New Home Baptist Church Friday, November 29, 1974, from 5 p.m. until the funeral hour. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 30, 1974, at 11 a.m. with Rev. William Smith officiating. Interment will follow at the Plateau Cemetery. Azalea Funeral Home, 352 State at Claiborne has charge of the arrangements.
