OBITUARY: Mrs. John W. Hill Dies in 62nd Year - Well-Known Douglas County Woman Moved Here in 1918____ Mrs. Lula Elizabeth Hill of 395 S. Prince Ave. passed away last Friday at Porter Sanitarium. She had been in the hospital from January to March and had had to return to Porter's 10 days before her death.

Mrs. Hill was born Aug. 19, 1885, in Douglas County. She was married to John W. Hill on Aug. 19, 1905, and came to Littleton with her family in 1918. Mr. Hill passed away on Sept. 29, 1941.

Surviving Mrs. Hill are seven children, George H. Hill of Littleton, Mrs. Ralph Carver of Mt. Morrison, C. Oliver Hill of Weldona, Frank M. Hill, Mrs. Richard W. Waggy, John W. Hill, and Lula E. Hill, all of Littleton. Mrs. Hill is also survived by her father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Gandy of 419 S. Curtis Ave.; a brother, Luther K. Gandy, Canon City; and three sisters, Mrs. Ted Sweeten and Mrs. Carl Hill, both of Denver, and Mrs. Arthur Gray of Greenland, Douglas County.

The Rev. Ranold F. Plott conducted the services at 1 p.m. Monday in the Nickels-Hill chapel. Mrs. J. Clyde Hoskin sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "In the Garden," to the accompaniment of Mrs. C. E. Stephenson on the organ. Interment was in the family plot at the Spring Valley Cemetery at Greenland. The pallbearers were George Hill, C. Oliver Hill, Frank M. Hill, John W. Hill, Richard W.
