RAYSAL -- Stevie Nicole Burton, 28, of Raysal, W.Va., left this life to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and her loved ones on Thursday, May 6, 2010.
Born November 8, 1981 at Richlands, Va., she was the daughter of Steve Burton of Raysal, W.Va. and the late Donna Kennedy Burton. She was a graduate of Iaeger High School, 2002.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, Eric Kyle Burton; her papaw, Douglas "Dickie" Burton.
Survivors include her father, Steve of Raysal; two daughters, Montana Dye of Raysal and Ms. Riley Burton of Jolo, W.Va.; one sister, Candice Burton and companion Chris Blankenship of Slate Creek, Va.; a special niece, Erica Burton of Richlands, Va.; special nephew, Kobe Blankenship of Slate Creek, Va.; grandmother, Lorene Click and husband Bill of Raysal who loved her unconditionally; maternal grandparents, Joe and Agnes Kennedy of Paynesville, W.Va. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral service will be conducted Monday, May 10, 2010 at 1 p.m. from the Jesus Church at Bartley, W.Va. with Pastor Roger "Pete" Woods and the Reverend Roger Hale officiating.
Friends may call Sunday, May 9, 2010 after 6 p.m. at the Jesus Church where an evening wake service will be held at 7 p.m.
Burial will follow the funeral service at Kennedy Cemetery, Bug Hurley Hollow, near Jolo, W.Va. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
