THE KINSLEY MERCURY
Kinsley, Edwards County, Kansas
Hubert Thomas Ackley, Watsonville, Calif., a former resident of Kinsley, died Feb. 8, 1992, in the Watsonville Community Hospital at the age of 73.
A native of Kansas, Mr. Ackley was the son of the late Grace Lewis, Kinsley. He was an army veteran of World War II and a member of the House of Prayer for more than 30 years.
Survivors include his wife, Lenora; two daughters; two sons; four sisters, Edith Reece, Seaside, Calif., Pearl Gillespie and Lela Rigdon, both of Exeter, Calif., and Vivian Allen, Great Bend, Kansas; two aunts, Leona Birney and Ellida Picket, both of Kinsley; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 21, at Davis Memorial Chapel, with burial in Watsonville.
