PERCY EBEN COTA
Percy E. Cota 79 of 1936 S. Lincoln Ave., former owner of Cota Food Market, died at 5:35 a.m. Thursday at Memorial Medical center. A resident of Springfield since 1939, Mr. Cota was custodian at Cherry Hills Baptist Church for over 20 years. He was a member of Cherry Hills Baptist Church. Veterans World War 1, Barracks No. 185 and was a veteran of World War I. He is survived by one nephew, John Cota, of Springfield. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Bisch Memorial Home. Rev. Robert Mayhew will officiate and burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery, where World War I Barracks No. 185 will conduct Military Services.
