Willie Earl "Dugin" Shipp, age 47, died at 4:15 p.m. Friday, June 17, 1977 at the Louisville General Hospital. He was a native of Taylor County born here August 4, 1929, the son of the late Charles and Ada Phillips Shipp. Mr. Shipp was a resident of Route 2, Campbellsville. Survivors include one brother, Pearl Shipp of Route 2, Campbellsville and four sisters, Mrs. Annie Veatch of Campbellsville, Mrs. Winnie Karnes and Mrs. Nancy Franklin, both of Illinois, and Mrs. Lela Harmon of Route 1, Campbellsville. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June the 20th at the Lyon Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Travis Keltner officiating. Interment followed in the Brookside Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were: Carl Smith, Billy B.
