He was a phenomenal self-taught guitar player and was passionate about music of all genres. He worked in the IT industry for over 25 years and was not only very talented in his profession but was always happy to help others with their IT issues.
Mike toured with the band Nantucket based in Raleigh, NC in the early 80's.
In his spare time he enjoyed playing his guitar, singing and riding his motorcycle. Michael never met a stranger and would talk to anyone who would listen! He had a fabulous sense of humor, was compassionate and had a deep love for Jesus. He was adored by anyone who really knew him and could always bring a smile to those around him.
Michael is survived by his sons Tyler and Nick, his sister Sandy, his long time best friend and pastor Steve, nephew Bradley, niece Christina and a multitude of friends.
A service to celebrate Michael's life and his reunion with Jesus will be held November 30, 2019 at Lee Memory Gardens in Sanford, NC at 1 p.m. It will be performed by long time best friend and pastor Steve Rosser.
