Son of John Wesley Crockett. Grandson of Davy Crockett & Polly Finley. David Crockett's oldest son JOHN WESLEY CROCKETT is buried in the old City Cemetery in Paris, TN. Many of his descendants still live in Henry Co. It was John Wesley's son CHARLES WALTON CROCKETT who was the owner and editor of a Dover newspaper, "The Weekly Courier". 7 of his children were born in Stewart Co. He had moved his family to Robertson Co. by 1894 because his last child, Alice, was born there on 10 Sept 1894. He was clerk of the general assembly from 1888 to 1889 and a Judge of Robertson County court.
