Margaret Pott married William Bound, an Arminian Baptist Preacher, about 1640. The date is approximate and based on the couple having 4 children by 1654; 3 more were born after.
The birth dates of their children are unknown however the 11 Aug 1654 Will of Elizabeth's father Thomas Pott mentions the first 4 children:
*Thomas Bound [eldest son]
*William Bound [2nd son]
*Joseph Bound [under 21 yrs in 1678]
*Benjamin Bound [under 21 yrs in 1678]
*Jeremy Bound [bound as apprentice by 1678]
*Anne Bound [wife of David Jones in 1678]
*Elizabeth Bound [to be of age in 1681]
[Note: Arminianism is based on the theological ideas of the Dutch Reformed theologian Jacobus Arminius (1560–1609) and his historic supporters known as the Remonstrants.]
They resided in the Township of Dithenith in the Parish of Llandinam. On 19 Apr 1668 William Bound and his wife were presented at the Great Sessions at Poole, charged with absenting themselves from attendance upon divine worship in their Poole Church. On 5 Apr 1676 William Bound was presented again for the same offense.
