November 8, 1943 - October 5, 2022
Claudia Ann Folts, age 78, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, in Shawano. She was born on November 8, 1943, to the late Adrian and Bernadine (Kazmerski) Kahren in Milwaukee. On August 22, 1959, Claudia and Dean E. Folts were united in marriage in Milwaukee. Claudia was a machinist for Harley Davidson and was known as a hard worker. Her family called her the glue that held them together as she was the only "normal" one. Claudia was a very down to earth woman and people found her easy to talk to. Her grandchildren were always welcome at her house every day prior to heading to the park. Claudia looked forward to this ritual and the time spent with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Dean; children, Tracy (Gary) Koehnke and Dallas Folts; grandchildren, Jeremy Koehnke, Gary Koehnke, Jr., Kelly Westerhausen and Shawn Folts; eleven great-grandchildren; and brother, Tom Schwantes.
She is preceded in death by her sons, Dean Jr., Daniel and Dale; and her sister, Elizabeth.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
