Bettie Jean Alldredge, 79, of Blountsville went to be with the Lord Friday, January 6, 2023, at her residence. Bettie was born December 3, 1943 in Madison County, the daughter of Herman Leon Sisk and Mary Evelyn Woods Sisk. She was a 1961 graduate of J. B. Pennington High School, was retired from Syncro, after 33 years of employment and a member of Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, survived by her husband of 60 years, Jerry Lee Alldredge; son, Dewayne Alldredge, wife Kim; daughter, Kristie Lynn Whitley, husband Kevin; grandchildren, Nichole Alldredge, Ben Whitley and Morgan Richardson (Josh); great grandchildren, Malachi, Lamar, Ellison and Adalynn; sister, Mary Jo Gerstman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman Leon and Mary Evelyn Sisk and a sister, Shirley Parrish.
Funeral Service was 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 9, 2023, at Blountsville Funeral Home with Brother Earl Harper and Brother Gary McRae officiating. Pallbearers were Ben Whitley, Josh Richardson, Sam Alldredge, Kevin Whitley, Jerry Reynolds and James Woods. Burial was in Rock Springs Cemetery. Visitation was 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Blountsville Funeral Home.
