OBITUARY: HON. HENRY ALLAN ROLLS
DEATH OF LADY LLANGATTOCK'S SECOND SON
It became known with much regret in Monmouth on Tuesday that the death had occurred after an operation at Bexhill-on-Sea of the Hon. Henry Allan Rolls second son of the late Lord Llangatock and the present Dowager Lady Llangatoock. Deceased was 44 years of age. He was an officer in the old Monmouth Militia.
The present Lord Llangattock was the Hon. J. M. Rolls, who succeeded to the title by the death of his father. He is at present away engaged in military duties. A younger brother was the Hon. Charles Rolls, the famous airman and motor pioneer, who met a tragic end some years ago at Bournemouth. The Hon. H. A. Rolls had for some years been in a private nursing home. The body will be brought to Monmouth for burial in the Llangattock Churchyard.
In consequence of this death in the family, the meeting of British patriotic women which was to have been held at Lady Llangattock's town house, South Lodge, Rutland Gate, London on Thursday, will not take place.
