It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Abel Fonseca Sr. at the age of 84. He was born in San Benito, Texas on June 17, 1938, making his home in El Mirage for the past 60 years.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 63 years and 9 months, Toni Fonseca. His children, Diana Galindo (William), Laurentina Fonseca Aguirre (Jay), Guadalupe "Lupita" Odogui (Danny), Anthony Fonseca, all of Arizona and Abel Fonseca Jr. (Michel) of Mazatlán, Mexico; 15 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, sisters Rosalinda Fonseca Peralez (Frank) of Donna, Texas, Mary Fonseca Galvan (Robert) of Portland, Texas, Corina Fonseca Acosta (Emmanuel) of Prescott Valley, Arizona, brother Oberlin Fonseca (Rosa) of San Benito, Texas. He was preceded in death by parents, Eusebio and Laurentina Fonseca, and brother Gisifredo Fonseca.
