Mr. Jon Thomas (Tom) Hall, 56, of Eldorado, passed away at 10:15 a.m. Sunday, March 23, 2008, peacefully at his residence.
He was the husband of Rose (Reynolds) Hall, who survives him.
Jon was born in Eldorado on June 15, 1951, the son of the late Lee and Roma (Thomas) Hall.
He was a member of Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, Jon is survived by a daughter, Lisa (Russell) Hodge of Decatur; and one grandchild, Hunter Hodge.
Jon is also survived by a sister, Wilma Jo (John) Vanlandingham of Arizona; and a brother, Bill (Dora) Hall of Marion.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Philip Hall; a brother, George Hall; and a sister, Virginia Hall.
Graveside service will be held at Wolf Creek Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2008, with the Rev. Art Watson officiating. A remembrance service will be held at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Arrangements are in the charge of Colonial Terrace Funeral Home, Eldorado.
