Robert Carol Cook, 91, husband of the late Nell Powell Cook, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023.
Born in Woodruff, SC, he was the son of the late John B. Cook, Jr. and Lucile Jackson Cook. Carol attended Clemson College and was a US Army Veteran.
He was a retired insurance claims office manager. Carol was an active member of Boulevard Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and choir member as long as his health permitted.
Survivors include his twin sister, Carolyn C. McKee and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Doris C. Anderson; a brother, Dr. John B. Cook III; and a nephew, Brett A. McKee.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, at Sullivan-King Mortuary Chapel conducted by Dr. Austin Carty and Dr. Johnny McKinney.
A private entombment will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
