Madge is survived by her six children: Nancy Henschel, Cliff Henschel (Patti Hiers), Chad Henschel, Clint Henschel, Curt Henschel, and Clete (Kimberly) Henschel. She loved spending time with her six grandchildren: Dakota (Sami) Henschel, Amanda (Brett) Antholt, Emma Evenson, Andrea, Bryce, & Carter Henschel, and Austin & Nicole Hiers. She adored her great-grandchildren: Jaxon Hagen, Ember & Arthur Henschel; Evelyn, Annette, Barrett, & Kalvin Antholt; and Caelyn Bell, Remy Krueger, & Bella Hiers.
Madge was known for her kind and generous nature; she also could be sassy with a great sense of humor. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who was always there for her family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with and caring for all of them. Besides her family, Madge loved reading, sewing & quilting, puzzles & games of all kinds, gardening & canning, and her and her children's many pets. Madge also had many fond memories of spending time Up North, both at Ranch Lake and Long Lake, with family and friends.
Throughout the years, Madge held many jobs, other than mother: She worked at Borden's, Edgewood Restaurant, and Lakeshore Technical Institute as a cleaner. She retired from Tecumseh Products when it closed.
Madge is further survived by her sisters and one brother: Madeline Smith, Leonard (Patty) Kahl, and Sheila (Kenneth) Roepcke, and her sisters-in-law, Edna "Boots" Kahl, Lynn Kahl, and Barbara (Jan) VanSpijker. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Madge was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brothers (Athly, Jr., John, and William), her sisters (Georgianna Modtland, Gloria Holldorf, Gayle Austinson, and Sonia Stephanie) as well as numerous sisters- and brothers-in-law.
