Funeral services for Reva Warren Pitts, age 92, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Lowery and Rev. Jack Lee officiating. A burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Ms. Pitts was born on April 9, 1931, in Cadwell, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Willie and Hattie Jackson Warren. She was a retired lunchroom manager with the Laurens County Board of Education. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, where she served as Sunday School Teacher for over 35 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Edsel Pitts; a brother, Junior Warren; sisters, Oral Clyde Rountree, Margaret Blankenship and Myrtice Noles; and her son, Jimmy Pitts. Ms. Pitts passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023, in Dublinair Nursing Home.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M on Thursday at the church prior to the funeral service. The family also will receive friends at the residence of Jeff and Heather Koerperich, 1524 Rockdale Dr. Dublin, GA 31021.
